Arrangements for burials and cremations in Eastleigh

Options to think about

Clothes: you can bring their own clothes or we can provide a suitable alternative.

Jewellery: if any, whether you would like this to stay with the person or be returned to family.

Chapel of Rest: we welcome families to come to the Chapel, a suitable time can be made by phoning the office. We would advise hygienic treatment to take place prior to coming in to make the viewing a more pleasant experience.

Death Notice: we can put a notice in a newspaper for you.

Ashes: if you are having a cremation, a decision will need to be made whether you will collect them from the Crematorium or alternatively you can collect this from us. We can organise the interment of ashes into local cemetery or churchyard.

Service Sheets: we can provide these for you and will bring them to the funeral service. Photographs can be added for a more personal touch if desired.

Music: Recorded tracks of music or an organist playing, depending on the venue’s facilities.

Flowers: if required, we can advise you on local florists, you can pick out floral tributes with us and they can go on the funeral invoice. Also whether you would like family only to give flowers or all welcome if people enquire.

Donations:  if desired, a charity chosen by the deceased prior to passing away or by you, we can also set up online donating pages. We keep them open for 6 weeks and will write to you the total amount and the list of donors, we will then send off the donations on your behalf unless otherwise instructed by you. We always ask the charity to acknowledge you to confirm receipt of the donations.

In memorial items: we can provide a Book of Remembrance or Pew Cards.

Coffin: choosing a coffin can be difficult; we have a wide range of coffins from veneer to solid wood, bamboo to wicker woven, cardboard to colourful bespoke coffins.

Vehicles: We provide a black hearse with matching limousines. The hearse can meet you at the crematorium, church or leave from a home address with limousine or private cars can follow.

Alternative transport: upon request we can arrange a horse drawn hearse, motorcycle hearse, vintage lorry hearse and many more, please ask for more information.
